Bio
Lotus (she/her) started her working career in computer engineering before branching out into fine art and music events photography. Since 2009 she has developed an ongoing street photography series featuring NYC subway riders, and since 2011 she has photographed NYC house music DJs and the dancers at their events. Her work was featured in the 2019 Black Female Photographers Photo Annual and as part of the For The Love of Women in House multimedia exhibit. Who I Am
I am a photographer, musician, web developer, computer engineer, and questioner of all that is assumed to be “common knowledge”. My official occupation is Coloring Outside the Lines.
