Alice In Wonderland

I had heard of but never visited the Alice in Wonderland sculpture in Central park, as far as I can remember. I just happened to stumble upon it this day, so I stopped to admire it.

In 1959 José de Creeft created the statue in Long Island as a commission for George Delacorte, who donated it to the park. Delacorte was a publisher, and he made the donation in honor of his late wife Margarita.
