It took a few moments, but as my eyes adjusted I saw this little one peeking out of the water. I wish I had a telephoto lens with me that day so I could get a closer look.
Our apartment complex’s grounds crew does a wonderful job of taking care of the shrubs and flowers in our neighborhood. I saw these beauties during a stroll a few weeks ago.
