It took a few moments, but as my eyes adjusted I saw this little one peeking out of the water. I wish I had a telephoto lens with me that day so I could get a closer look.
When one is having a no good, very bad, awful day a walk in nature can be soothing. That’s what I had after lunch and a cat nap on Thursday, and it did me a world of good. The situation still sucks donkey balls, but at least I can think more clearly at the moment.
I haven’t yet tired of this view of the George Washington Bridge from The Met Cloisters museum. Whenever I am there I make it a point to go out onto the terrace and admire the view from there.
I’m overdue for another trip to the High Line park, especially now that the weather is warmer. On that day nothing was in bloom. Now there should be plenty of green!
