What are these purple flowers? They were really pretty from a distance. I couldn’t get any closer, because there was a fence, and I kinda like not slipping down a wall into the water while fully dressed.
We hung out at Lake George beach for a couple of hours admiring the view and watching rain clouds approach from over the mountains. When the rains arrived we ducked into a gift shop to wait it out before grabbing lunch and returning to our hotel to rest.
The Lac du Saint Sacrement is run by the Lake George Steamboat company. There are daily lunch and dinner cruises onboard the ship. The next time we visit I’d like to take a lunch cruise; the aroma was amazing even out in the parking lot!
