During my recent visit to the NY Botanical Garden I didn’t have a particular plan. I just knew I had to get the hell out of the house and walk a bit before I entirely melted down from the way a part of my life is going. So I took my camera and spent time paying attention to small details, like this purple plant. Photography makes me happy, not to mention giving me something other than the state of the world to focus on for a bit. I was able to walk out much of my frustration and return home feeling satisfied with the things I had seen and the photos I had made.
I did a lot of that today with my websites. I found a bunch of links that needed to be fixed and loads of media and old blog posts I was happy to get go of. In the process, I found some very old blog posts that are real gems. I’ll be sharing them over on Bluesky as I discover them. I’m very happy with the work I’ve done and feel a renewed interest in sharing both my photos and my thoughts via my blogs.
