The streets were packed with people waiting to photograph the sun setting along the east-west street grid. Though I was in midtown Manhattan on personal business I had no desire to tangle with that mess. 5th Ave. and 23rd St.Almost Manhattanhenge. Madison Avenue and 23rd St. where there were only a handful of people.This was probably the best way to see Manhattanhenge: while riding an uptown bus. Madison Avenue and 34th St. at the peak of it.
