A lot of times people don’t think about nature when they think about densely populated urban areas. One of the things I enjoy about photography is seeing those details other people walk right past. There is a lot of nature in New York City, and this is one example in the Parkchester neighborhood of The Bronx. At this time of day there weren’t a lot of people in the courtyard like there would be during rush hour or after school. It was a peaceful scene with peak autumn color in the middle of a busy NYC borough.
On Patreon I did a behind-the-scenes video of myself editing this and another photo. I occasionally share my editing and organization process over there, and I share my street photography three times a week. Join us there!
