This was my first time walking Daffodil Hill when the daffodils were in bloom, or maybe it was just my first time really taking it in, but I think I need to make this an annual occurrence.
Even though there isn’t much blooming in the Native Plants Garden right now and the water level is low, I still enjoyed sitting there a long while and simply taking in the peaceful environment.
The weeping cherry trees in front of the Haupt Conservatory are putting on a spectacular show this spring. I don’t think I have ever seen them like this, so I’m glad I caught them in peak bloom.
I went back to the New York Botanical Garden last week and made sure to get the shots I wanted of the daffodils before I wore myself out too much to squat down for them. They were truly showing out that day, and the weather was perfect for a garden ramble.
