Setting up a test site for tomorrow’s WordPress workshop.

I’m looking forward to digging into some of the finer details of WordPress and WordPress plugins. I can learn this stuff on my own, but it will be nice to have a couple of hours of free hand-holding to get me started. At some point I want to move my fine art photography website over to WordPress, rather than keeping it hand-coded HTML5/CSS3. While I am proud of my coding skills, I can do more faster in WordPress than I can in HTML and CSS. And I’m hoping to pick up some understanding that will help me tweak my novelty and event photography website, which is already WordPress-powered.

My brain cells are going to love the stimulation!

Thanks! My first challenge is figuring out why the installation script won’t run; I get a blank page. Everything I’ve tried based on my online research hasn’t worked, so far. If I can’t figure it out by the time the workshop begins, I’ll get there early and ask the instructor for help.
