On 2012 April 27, the prototype space shuttle Enterprise was transported to New York City to be added to the Intrepid Museum. I was living near the flight path to JFK airport at that time, so I had a front-row seat to its descent into NYC, thanks to working from home. I was able to get a few long-distance shots of its approach.
I haven’t yet been to Intrepid, but it is on my list of places to visit! I had once dreamed of being an astronaut, so I want to see Enterprise with my own eyes.
