The Great Elephant Migration is an art installation consisting of 100 life-sized Indian elephant sculptures traveling the United States. The sculptures were made out of an invasive plant called Lantana camara by 200 indigenous artisans living in India’s Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. It was recently located in NYC’s Meatpacking District.
