The Westchester Symphonic Winds performed a program of show tunes and Americana at Caramoor for 4 July. Towards the end they performed Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. Members of the Riverside Ringers were part of the 50+ ringer contingent who surprised the audience by rising from our seats amongst them, lining the perimeter of the tent, and providing the church bell effect during the climax of the tune. The audience loved it, and so did we!
