My weekend was quiet and restful, with lots of sleep, soft music, journaling, and video gaming. Now it is cold and damp, and I am in the thick of the start of Year 3 of software engineer/web developer job applications. What a drag. To cope, I am soothing myself with memories of a much warmer day walking around Chicago for the first time ever. Some of my favorite people in the whole wide world live there or are from there; that makes the place extra-special to me. I hope to go back soon.
