Woodlawn Cemetery is an active cemetery in the Bronx, New York, USA. It is also the final resting place of a number of notable people from various walks of life, including Celia Cruz and W. C. Handy. I spent a lovely autumn afternoon strolling over some of the hills and avenues of the 400 acre cemetery, visiting the graves of some famous folks, and, of course, making photos.
