There are a lot of negative vibes out there in the world. United States government representatives are hating on the working class, hating on immigrants, hating on domestic spending, hating on LGBT people wanting to be treated with the same respect and given government protection as any other marginalized group. There is even homophobia from people who ought to know better. How are you going to be a minority in this country, scream about institutionalized racism, then turn around and with the same mouth call LGBT people everything but normal and natural and worthy of all respect? I saw that twice today in two different African-American themed Google+ communities. That’s one group of Americans that ought to know better. It’s stuff like that which makes me wary of connecting with my people, but I digress.
Everyone else, keep your heads up. Don’t let the hatred chase you underground. You see the truth, and there are a lot more of us out here than you may realize while you are reeling from the hatred flung so freely across the airwaves and internet.
